Brew Yourself a Cup of Starbucks Coffee Today
Thursday, December 15, 2005

By Christina VanGinkel

Coffee is a favorite drink worldwide among people of all ages, genders, whether professionals or blue-collar workers. There is something about the smell of a fresh cup brewing that calls to our most inane self, telling us that it is time to wake up, or maybe kick back and relax, or even as a great after dinner drink to just sit and chat over. Coffee is truly universal in its appeal. One company that decided to bring some of the worlds best coffees to convenient locations all over decided that was not good enough. They wanted to be sure that their top of the line coffees were available to as many people as they could possibly reach, so they went beyond their storefronts that sell their favorites ready to go, and branched out to sell the coffee itself, for you to take home and brew each and every time the mood for one of their cups of coffees strike.

The company that I am talking about is Starbucks of course! Coffee lovers who do not have a Starbucks located in their area, can now still be a part of the Starbucks revolution by ordering their favorites online. Even if you happen to have a Starbucks in your neighborhood, but want the convenience of having your favorites available whenever the mood strikes, be sure to check out their unique online site too!

What flavors do they have available for ordering, you might ask? You have a choice of twenty-four different flavors, separated into the following categories, Latin America, Africa Arabia, Asia Pacific, and Blends. The flavors include

Starbucks has even gone so far as to be sure that you know the four fundamentals of making the perfect cup of coffee, so that you can enjoy their coffees as much at home as you do when they brew it. The four fundamentals of making the perfect cup of coffee are Proportion, Grind, Water, and Freshness. Use the right amount of water, with a blend that matches your choice of flavors. For example, if you like a smoother taste, no matter how little coffee you use to brew a cup, if it is of a strong blend, you will not be satisfied with the taste. Look for a blend that is smooth to begin with. Toning down the amount just does not work. Each pot of coffee should start with fresh, cold water. When they point out that each cup of coffee is roughly 98% water, it makes sense why the water is so important. Lastly, use fresh coffee, as coffee can lose its flavor or go stale. Fresh coffee makes a fresh cup.
