Holidays Harry & David Style!

Anyone who is familiar with Harry & David stores knows that a lot of the holiday list can be taken care of right there within their walls. If you are not located near one of the stores there is a web site for all your Harry & David shopping. Find this shopping spot at harryanddavid.com.

One of the more appreciated gifts you can give from this store is a gift that keeps giving all year long. How can you make that happen? Order a "fruit of the month club" for someone very special to you (or someone you need to impress!) If you want to choose this option for your gift giving, you will be able to choose from a 3, 6, 9, or 12 month plan.

As an example, if you choose the 3 month gift, your recipient will be receiving five pounds of Royal Riviera (r) Pears in December (assuming you are doing this for Christmas gift giving); 3.8 pounds of Jonagold Apples in January; and five pounds of Royal Navel Oranges in February.

Each plan, of course, adds more and different kinds of fruit. If you buy the 12 month plan, your recipient will receive the following:
(1) 5 pounds of The Favorite (r) Royal Riviera (r) Pears
(2) 3.8 pounds of Jonagold Apples
(3) 5 pounds of Royal Navel Oranges
(4) 7 pounds of Royal Grapefruit
(5) 2.10 pounds of Royal Velvet Plums
(6) 6.8 pounds Golden Pineapples
(7) 2.4 pounds of Sunrise Papayas
(8) 2.8 pounds of Dark Sweet Cherries
(9) 4 pounds of Oregold (r) Peaches
(10) 4 pounds of Exotic Nectarines
(11) 5 pounds of The Favorite (r) Royal Riviera (r) Pears
(12) 4 pounds Royal Beurre (r) Bosc Pears

You may want to tell your gift recipient what they will be receiving each month until the following November, but it is also fun to simply let them know that some fruit will be arriving and then let the specific kind be a surprise.

Okay, so let's say you don't really want to give the gift of fruit. This is no reason to leave Harry & David. The store offers many other options as well. You can choose from gift basket and gift tower choices and for the sweet tooth people on your gift giving list, the online store has a huge "goodie list" of chocolates and bakery items from which to choose. Your toughest choice might come down to which gift to buy for whom.

Some of the categories you will be seeing are chocolates & truffles, holiday treats, peppermint treats, chocolate towers, cookies, cheesecakes, pies, gingerbread, fruitcakes, and international desserts. There are more categories also!
